Today, we went for a brunch at our fave China Pearl in Quincy. We haven't been there for a while and hb woke up craving for some dimsum, so he asked me if we can go there early for a brunch. I've been craving for some Japanese sushi and sashimi myself, but I guess dimsum would be a great alternative for now. There's no good Japanese resto close by, we have to drive to Boston just to get authentic sushi and sashimi and hb was not up for a long hot drive.
China Pearl gets really crowded very early, so we left around 10:30am to get there by 11am. At this time of the year when the weather is scorching hot, driving out can be really a hassle not to mention finding the perfect place to park the car. We drove around looking for a spot under the shades of trees, even if its a bit far from the resto. We found one and it was worth the walk.
