Does Not Always Go As Planned

As a mom, I'm so used to things-not-going-as-planned scenario. When you have a toddler, you need to be flexible because things may not always happen the way you planned them. Like when I need to take my son to his 10:30am Gymboree class, I always get everything ready at least two hours before. I should leave the house at 10am to give me more time to buckle him up and drive. But then at the last minute he will take a dump and so everything else will change. I'm the kind of person who always show up on time in any appointment, but after having Mikey, my girlfriends are so used to me calling them that I will be running late. Since most of my mom girlfriends are into the same situation, we understand each other's predicament.
