Swimming Pool For Mikey

Hb and I have been talking about getting our son a swimming pool because he started loving the waters now. Unlike last year when we took him to a pool in RI, it took a lot of prodding to get him to his floater even. Finally last week, hb got him an 8' x 30" Intex easy set pool with 639 gallons water capacity where he installed in the backyard. It comes with a filtration pump and cover, so it is ready when Mikey feels like jumping into the pool. Unfortunately, for the past days, the weather has not been great, either we get rain or its overcast, so the water doesn't get warm enough to dip in. Yesterday, I dipped in with Mikey, the water was a little bit cold so we didn't really stay very long. Mikey shivered quickly so after 30 minutes, we got off the pool. It was nice though. This week the weather forecast is still not very promising, I guess we will get more rains and thunderstorm, so its still lousy for a swim. I'm also thinking of enrolling Mikey at the Y for a swimming lesson, hopefully there will be available slot left.

  1. hi mira, you don't need to bring mikey in y cause you can use your little pool to teach him. Andrew been in swimming lesson since june 30 and we know the techneque how to help him. We signing up for family member in our community because it's cheaper then Y . We pay $125 for the whole year and it's free swimming lesson every summer if we renew our membership. Our family membership is only available from 6-6:50pm everynight from monday to friday then on the weekend its 2-6pm, 50 minutes lang pero its good enough to practice andrew. Turu-an mo si mikey magfloat with his swimming float or hawakan mo siya just like in the photo.. then later on pwede muna siya e enrolled sa Y for more techneque how to teach our kid.. it's gonna be warm everyday and I'm sure every single day na kayo nagswimming. Bukas pupunta sila claire and my other friend with her daugthers and monica's sons even she is still in Philippines magswimming sila bukas dito mga bata kaya mapuno na naman itong swimming pool namin.

  2. hi mirs! good idea talaga yang little pool para sa mga bata, i had last year kaya lang namatay yong grasses so this year i bought smaller one i put in the back patio, di naman kc sila nagsi-swimming laro lang ng laro sa tubig, tsaka we enrolled them in the swimming school dun na lang sila matuto lumangoy haha

hope you will going to have more nice weather para mas lalong maeenjoy kayo ni mikey sa pool.
