I've heard so many great things about LASIK in fact I even considered it once before but was just reluctant to go ahead with it for fear of possible side effects. But recently I read that LASIK technology is already being used by Department of Defense (DOD) and NASA to improve the vision of their specialized personnel that perform extreme and physically demanding tasks. They validated the fact that LASIK procedure exceeds all established standards of safety and effectiveness. Unlike the earlier version of LASIK which used only one laser, the modern LASIK called iLASIK Procedure uses two lasers. The first laser which replaced the handheld microkeratome blade used in older version, is used to create a thin flap in the cornea while the second laser is used to make the correction in the cornea. This two-laser iLASIK procedure provides exceptional safety and excellent visual results.
But who are considered a good candidate for the procedure? Although there are conditions that exclude certain patients to get the procedure, majority of people who are at least 21 years old and are in good general health are in fact good candidates. So if you are considering to get an iLASIK procedure like I do, get more LASIK information and determine if you are a good candidate by visiting iLASIK.com and taking the iLASIK quiz.

Oh gosh... A lasik surgery would be so nice... :)
