This is a miniature Go Fish toy that I got in Cracker Barrel. You wind the knob and the pond rotates and you fish using the poles with magnet ends. This is a great tool to teach colors to kids. When he gets something he will scream, "Mommy I got fish." Then I will ask "What color did you get?". I thought it was harder to teach colors than shapes and picture recognition, my son still confuses green, blue and yellow. He knows orange, purple, red and pink.

this is my favorite toy when julie was little heheh.
OH we used to play on that kind when I was younger. nice post.. brings back some childhood memories.
Our daughter has the same toy but hers is red. I was supposed to post it too but I can only find three fish. :)

When my kid is 15 months, she only knew yellow, but now she knows green (she's 20 months). good luck, mommy!
